Kathleen Mc Lane, a popular contributing writer and columnist for some
of the nation's top magazines, is delighted to be working with the creative
team at LMC.
How did this remarkable collaboration come about? Through the wiles
and wisdom of Melissa Hoffman. Melissa had been telling Kathleen for
years that her piquant and pithy writing was a perfect fit for advertising.
A few years ago, Melissa set out to prove it. She challenged Kathleen to
work with the brilliant Lisa Mazur on a project for a rather, um, finicky client. The two turned the client's lackluster, failing campaign into a roaring success. Melissa took all the credit and Kathleen begrudgingly admitted that Melissa was right: She did have a knack for this ad thing. But Kathleen would add, that writing to Lisa Mazur's gorgeous designs is a no-brainer.
Backstory:
Kathleen's cover articles, columns and features have appeared
in such publications as: TV Guide, Marie Claire, In Style, Out, Mademoiselle and Mirabella (to name just a few) and in international publications: South Africa's Femina, Latin American Cosmo, and Latin American Marie Claire.
In concert with producer Susan Kendall Newman, Kathleen wrote Start
Me Up, for the Child Welfare League of America, featuring Carol Burnett
and Ed Asner. Start Me Up won the coveted Golden Eagle Award for
Best Motivational Video.
A Few of Kathleen's Favorite Things:
New York City!! Great Food. Wonderful Wine. The Theater. Collaborating
with Lisa and Melissa. And last, but never least, Xena.
