Melissa Hoffman has an extensive background in strategic branding and business development. As a Marketing Strategist for L. Mazur & Co. she provides brand strategy, business development, trend analysis and account management for the firms retail, hospitality, broadcast and non-profit clients.
In 2001, as Managing Director of Fitch Worldwide, she oversaw business development for clients ranging from Nokia, Best Buy and Saks, among many others. From 1994 to 2000 she served as a principal with Desgrippes Gobe, one of the top ten international marketing agencies, directing global business development and strategic marketing for beauty, fashion and retail brands including Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, Reebok, Godiva, Coca Cola and many others.
Melissa began her career at HBO as Director of Production and Administration, overseeing sixty shows a year with multi-million dollar production budgets. She produced diverse projects for network and public television. As Director of Programming and Marketing for Vestron Video (later Lorimar), Melissa supervised the development of original programming and was integral in the launch of its original film unit and its first feature film, Dirty Dancing. As Creative Director and SVP for Esquire Video/Esquire Press, a division of Esquire Magazine, Melissa established the division as the leading producer of advertiser-sponsored home videos.
In 2000, Melissa wrote and starred in her own one woman show, Bossy Girl Monologues as part of the American Living Room series at Lincoln Center.
